In 1987, long before entrepreneurship was encouraged, our founder-cum-Managing Director had the foresight to notice a niche in the employment market for temporary/contract staff and was quick to capitalize on the opportunities by giving up a comfortable job to set up Protemps. Since then, Protemps has stayed at the forefront of the recruitment scene by expanding successfully into permanent, executive search and foreign talent placements and value-added services like payroll management, foreign workers' counseling and consultation. Our successful recruitment track record has become its own mouthpiece. Our recruitment services have been so well sought after that we have another distinguished record of being able to transform every potential customer into a satisfied client.

In 1995, due to our strong sourcing capabilities and links with overseas counterparts, Protemps also branched successfully into foreign recruitment, namely India, Bangladesh, China, Philippines, Myanmar and Malaysia. With expertise gained over the past 19 years in local and overseas manpower recruitment, PROTEMPS has become one of the most respected agencies in Singapore. In its very short history, the company has deployed a good number of local and foreign workers and professionals to numerous sites in Singapore PROTEMPS has extensive experience in recruiting manpower overseas for a wide spectrum of industries. The bulk of our recruitment is into marine and electrical engineers, seafarers, shipyard workers (skilled and unskilled) and construction sectors. With utmost confidence, PROTEMPS offers its resources and technical expertise to meet the challenges of both local and overseas recruitment.

We are accredited by the Ministry of Manpower to recruit PRC workers in year 1995 and have been very active since then. Up till to-date, we have recruited quite a big number of workers from the Philippines, Myanmar, China and India for our clients from a wide spectrum of industries. The bulk of our recruitment is into Electronics, Shipping, Shipyard ,Marine, Aerospace Sectors and also the chemical manufacturing, plastic mouldings, healthcare and construction field.
