For temporary job / contract placements, we shall try to find a replacement as soon as client informs us that the candidate is leaving. As for perm placements, the guarantee clause will apply and Protemps Employment Agency shall provide a replacement at no extra cost during the guarantee period. Placement fees must be paid by the client company prior to the replacement process.

There are 2 options; either the contract staff is on
- The employer's payroll, where we will bill the client a one-time charge or
- Protemps' payroll, where we will levy a mark-up on the total cost monthly for the duration of the contract.
Upon conversion of the candidate to perm placement, Protemps shall invoice the client a one-time charge. We recommend clients to provide pro-rated benefits, so that candidates feel more inclined to go for the contract placements, without feeling that they are losing out by taking a contract instead of permanent job.

For short assignments, we will quote an hourly rate to the client, from which we will pay the candidate. If the duration of the assignment is long, we will recommend the client to offer the candidate contract placement instead.

While Protemps cannot guarantee candidates' 100% commitment, as they may have to leave due to unforeseen circumstances, we do our best to ensure that the candidates we recommend / send are able to commit to the assignment, in order to minimize disruptions to client's operations. For temporary assignments, candidates will have to give a few days' notice in advance should they decide to resign. For contract employees, the notice period will be agreed upon between the client and the candidate before commencement of work.
